Okay, so I’ve been hyped for College Football 25 like everyone else. The biggest question on my mind, besides the gameplay, was “How much space is this bad boy gonna eat up on my PS5?” I mean, storage is precious, right? So, I started digging.

First, I hit up the usual spots – the official PlayStation Store, the EA Sports website, you know, the obvious places. No dice. They were all about the release date and pre-order bonuses, but nothing about the file size. Typical.
Deeper Dive into Forums
Then, I went down the rabbit hole of Reddit and some gaming forums. Lots of speculation, people throwing around numbers like 80GB, 100GB, even 120GB! It was a mess. I saw some folks talking about how other sports games are pretty big, so this one would probably be similar. Makes sense, but I wanted something concrete.
Getting Closer (Maybe?)
I finally found some articles that were claiming to have the info. One or two said something like 90+ Gigs. Some other fourm guys are guess the same size too. It’s not official confirmation, but it felt more reliable than random guesses.
Putting it All Together (and Waiting)
So, based on my “research” (aka spending way too much time online), I’m expecting College Football 25 to be somewhere in the 90GB to 100GB+ range. It’s a big one, no doubt. I’ve already started clearing out some older games I don’t play anymore, just to be safe. It’s a bummer, but hey, gotta make room for the important stuff, right?
My Action Plan:
- Deleted old games: Got rid of a couple I haven’t touched in months.
- Moved some stuff to external: Stuff, which is my video clips.
- Keep checking for updates: I’ll keep an eye on the official sources, just in case they finally reveal the actual size.
