Okay, so today I was trying to catch the Coco Gauff match live, right? Here’s how it all went down.

First thing, I woke up and immediately grabbed my phone. I searched “Coco Gauff match today live” on Google. You know, the usual.
Then, I saw a bunch of links. Some were for ESPN, others for some random sports sites I’d never heard of. I’m always a little wary of those, so I stuck with the big names.
Clicked on the ESPN link, and it took me to their app. I already had the app installed, thankfully. But, of course, I needed to log in. Fumbled around for my password for a few minutes – you know how it is. Finally got in.
Then, I searched for the match within the app. It was a little tricky to find, but I eventually found it under the “Tennis” section. Of course, it required a subscription to ESPN+. Sigh.
I debated for a minute. Was it worth it? Coco is awesome, so I figured, why not? I signed up for a month. It asked for my credit card details and all that jazz. Annoying, but necessary.
After I paid, the stream finally started! But… it was buffering like crazy. I checked my Wi-Fi. Full bars. I closed all my other apps. Still buffering. Grrr.
I tried switching to a different device. Opened the ESPN app on my laptop. Same problem. I restarted my router. Still buffering! I was getting seriously frustrated.
I decided to try a different streaming site. Back to Google. Clicked on another link. This one promised a “free” stream. Yeah, right. Got bombarded with pop-up ads. Closed them all. Finally, the stream started… in potato quality. Ugh.

At this point, I was just hoping to see something. Coco was playing, and I was determined to watch. The picture was pixelated, and the commentary was in some weird language, but hey, at least it wasn’t buffering.
I watched for about an hour like that. Eventually, the stream cut out completely. I gave up. I just checked the score online instead. Coco won! So, that’s good, even if I didn’t get to see it properly. Maybe next time I’ll just record it and watch it later. Less stress, you know?
