Okay, so I got curious about how fast those pro golfers really swing their clubs. I mean, we see them blasting drives on TV, but what does that translate to in terms of numbers? So, I decided to dig in and find out the average club head speed on the PGA Tour.

First, I started poking around online, you know, just Googling stuff. I found some articles and forum discussions, but honestly, it was a bit all over the place. Some sites gave general ranges, others threw out specific numbers, and it was hard to tell what was legit and what was just someone’s guess.
Then I figured, “Hey, I’m a visual learner. I’ll go search on Youtube.” I went there and watch some videos about pro golfers’ swing and found some usefule infomation.
My Findings on PGA Tour Club Head Speed
I spent an entire afternoon on this. After that, I realized there were many diffrent answers on internet. Most of them were not consistent.
Finally, I got some reliable datas.
- Driver: I went to find out the speed of driver. It’s about an average of 113-115 mph. I’m way slower than that!
It’s a lot of work, but it was fun. I hope you like what I shared. I will be back with other sharing.
