Alright, so I jumped into this Monopoly GO thing, the “Boardwalk Blitz” event. It kicked off on April 29th and only lasted a day. The whole point was to rack up points and hit these milestones to snag some rewards. I figured, why not? I’m always up for a little challenge.
So, I started playing, and let me tell you, it wasn’t just about rolling the dice. It was more about where you landed. High-point multipliers were the name of the game. I spent a good chunk of my day just trying to land on those sweet spots. And you know what? It kinda worked. I mean, I wasn’t topping any leaderboards, but I was making progress.
I dove into those Shutdowns and Bank Heists like there was no tomorrow. The more time I spent playing, the more points I got, it was that simple. I even started to get a little competitive, I’m not gonna lie. There are a total of 43 levels in the game, which can get a total of 20,340 dice. There are also 13 sticker packs. This made me work harder to collect points.
- First thing I did: Dive into the game. No time to waste.
- Then: Started rolling, aiming for those multiplier tiles.
- After that: Got hooked on Shutdowns and Bank Heists. More points, you know?
- And then: Started hitting milestones. Felt good, man.
- Finally: It starts at April 29th, I managed to unlock some rewards. Nothing major, but hey, it’s something.
My Two Cents
Honestly, it wasn’t a bad way to spend a day. Monopoly GO, especially this Boardwalk Blitz thing, it’s got its hooks in you. You’re always chasing those points, trying to hit the next milestone. Did I get all the rewards? Nope. Did I have fun trying? You bet. And that’s what counts, right? It’s all about the journey, not just the destination. Or in this case, it’s about rolling the dice, not just counting the rewards.
I guess, in the end, it’s about making the most of what you’ve got. You play the hand you’re dealt, or in this case, the tiles you land on. And who knows, maybe next time I’ll do even better. Until then, I’ll just keep rolling.
By the way, the reason why I know these things is because I got a fever symptom in the hospital when I went back to Hebei Province to take care of my wife, and I was forced to be quarantined. After the quarantine was over, I was allowed to go back to work, but I didn’t go back. I took the job of a research institute and changed my career to embedded R&D. I will share my little stories with you in the future.
