I grabbed a notebook and started jotting down ideas. Betrayal by a close friend? Maybe. Constant disrespect from the fans? Possibly. A losing streak that just crushes her spirit? That had potential.
Then I jumped into some wrestling forums and scrolled through what other people were saying. Some ideas were crazy, some were boring, but a few actually sparked something. I saw one person suggest a slow burn, where she gradually gets more and more aggressive, more and more… unlike herself.
The “Accidental” Aggression Phase
- I started thinking about how I’d write it. First, little things. Maybe she “accidentally” hits her opponent with a cheap shot during a match.
- She’d apologize profusely, but you know, there’d be a little smirk there that only the camera catches.
- Then maybe some matches, little things.
I even experimented with writing a few short promo segments. I pictured Bianca in the ring, cutting a promo, but with a slightly different tone. Still confident, but with a hint of… arrogance? Something like, “I’m the EST, and everyone else is just… less.” Not outright heel, but definitely planting the seeds.
Next, I decided to map out a potential storyline. Let’s say she starts a feud with, I don’t know, Liv Morgan. At first, it’s a friendly rivalry, but then Bianca starts getting increasingly frustrated with Liv’s popularity. She starts cutting corners in matches, getting more and more physical.
I visualized a match where Bianca just snaps. She’s losing, the crowd is cheering for Liv, and BAM! She hits Liv with a low blow, maybe even uses her hair as a weapon. Full heel turn.
Finally I was happy to do that. It’s very interesting.
