Okay, so I’ve been hooked on Monopoly Go lately, like seriously hooked. And this “Grill and Glory” event popped up, promising some sweet rewards. I figured, why not try to maximize my gains? So, here’s how my whole experience went down.

First, I logged into the game, obviously. I made sure I had a decent amount of dice rolls saved up, because, you know, you gotta roll to win. I think I had like 500 or so, which I felt was a pretty good starting point. Not super high-roller level, but enough to make some progress.
Then, I checked out the event details. It’s all about landing on specific tiles, the ones with the little grill icons. Every time you hit one, you get points, and those points move you along the reward track. Simple enough, right?
My Dice-Rolling Strategy
Initially, I just started rolling normally, using the x1 multiplier. I figured I’d play it safe, see how often I was landing on those grill tiles. Turns out, not that often! It was kinda frustrating, watching my dice rolls dwindle without making much headway.
So, I switched things up. I started using the x5 multiplier when I was about 6-8 spaces away from a grill tile. The idea is that within those 6-8 spaces, the chances become likely that you will hit. This is a bit risky, since you burn through dice faster, but when you do land on the target, you get 5 times the points. I even tried the x10 multiplier a few times when I was feeling particularly bold (and had a cluster of grill tiles ahead).
- Low Multiplier (x1): Used this when I was far from any target tiles, just to keep moving around the board.
- Medium Multiplier (x5): My go-to when I was within striking distance of a grill tile.
- High Multiplier (x10): Only used this a couple of times, super risky but the potential payoff was tempting!
I also made sure to complete my daily quick wins and collect any free dice gifts that popped up. Every little bit helps, right? And I kept an eye on the tournament that was running alongside the event. Sometimes, the tournament rewards would include extra dice or event points, so it was worth trying to rank decently.
The Grind and the Glory (Eventually)
Honestly, it was a bit of a grind. There were times when I felt like I was just throwing dice away, landing on everything except the grill tiles. But I stuck with it, adjusting my multiplier strategy as I went. I also noticed that some parts of the board seemed to have more grill tiles clustered together, so I’d try to aim for those sections.
After a couple of days of on-and-off playing, I finally managed to complete the entire reward track! It felt pretty good, not gonna lie. I unlocked a bunch of dice, some cash, and even a few sticker packs. Was it worth all the effort? For a free-to-play player like me, I’d say yeah, definitely. I got a nice boost to my resources without spending any real money.
So, that’s my “Grill and Glory” story. It was a mix of strategy, luck, and a whole lot of dice rolls. If you’re playing Monopoly Go and tackling this event, I hope my experience gives you a few ideas. Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favor!
