Alright, so I finally got the platinum trophy for “Atomic Heart.” Man, what a ride! I started playing this game because it looked cool, you know, the whole Soviet sci-fi vibe. It took me about, I don’t know, maybe 35 or 40 hours of playing? I wanted to see everything, not just the main story. You can make the game a bit easier with some settings, but I wanted a challenge so I tried Armageddon difficulty but it’s too hard to me so I changed it to normal difficulty.
First off, I just dove into the game. Played through it without worrying too much about the trophies. Just wanted to enjoy the story and get a feel for the world. The game’s about 16 hours long if you just do the main stuff, but I like to explore.
Then, I started hunting for the trophies. There are 42 of them in total, a mix of bronze, silver, and gold. I looked up a trophy guide online, just to see what I was missing. It’s pretty helpful to have a roadmap so you don’t waste time.
Next, I focused on cleaning up the miscellaneous trophies. Some of them are easy, like killing certain enemies in specific ways. Others are a bit more involved, like finding all the collectibles scattered around the world. I found myself backtracking a lot, revisiting areas I’d already been to.
- Tried all the weapons and upgrades. There’s a lot of them, and they all feel different.
- Listened to all the chirpers.
- Fought all the bosses, including the optional ones. Some of them are tough!
- Explored every nook and cranny of the map. There are so many hidden areas and secrets to find.
Here are some of the things I did:
Finally, after a lot of work, I got that sweet, sweet platinum trophy. It felt good to 100% complete the game. I’m not sure I’d recommend going for the platinum to everyone. It’s a lot of work, and it can be frustrating at times. But if you’re a completionist like me, it’s definitely worth it. It’s really cool to play through the whole game, start to finish. I feel like I really know the game inside and out now.
So yeah, that’s my “Atomic Heart” platinum journey. It was tough, but I’m glad I did it. Now, onto the next game!
