Okay, so I was chilling on my couch the other day, watching some NBA highlights, and Anthony Davis was just dominating. It got me thinking, “Where’s this guy from?” You know, like, what’s his background? So, I grabbed my phone and started digging.
First, I just hit up a quick search. Nothing fancy, just typed in “Anthony Davis ethnicity.” Boom! Right away, I got a bunch of results. Most of them were just basic bio stuff, you know, height, weight, team, the usual.
But then, I started looking closer. I found out that both of his parents are, well, tall. Like really tall, as would be expected. His father is Anthony Davis Sr. I figured that much.
I kept digging a little deeper. Multiple sites confirmed, he is African-American. He grew up in Chicago, Illinois, and went to Perspectives Charter School. So he’s a Chicago guy, with roots that, like many African-Americans, trace back through history.
I spent maybe 10-15 minutes just reading different articles and forum posts. Some people were talking about his family, his upbringing, and his career, it all gave me a better picture of him, not just as a player, but as a person.
