Okay, so today I tried to make that “Grace & Chris” thing everyone’s been talking about. You know, that whipped coffee thing. I figured, why not? I had some instant coffee lying around, and it looked kinda cool.
Getting Started
First, I gathered all the stuff I needed. It was pretty simple:
- Instant coffee
- Sugar
- Hot water
- Milk
- Ice
I grabbed a bowl and tossed in a couple of tablespoons of instant coffee. Then I added the same amount of sugar and hot water. I don’t have one of those fancy electric mixers, so I just used a regular whisk. Time to get those arm muscles working!
The Whipping Process
I started whisking, and at first, it just looked like dark, watery coffee. But I kept at it. Slowly but surely, it started to get lighter and thicker. It took a good while, like, maybe 10 minutes of solid whisking? My arm definitely got tired, I won’t lie. But I pushed through! Finally, it reached this fluffy, creamy consistency that looked just like the pictures.
Assembling the Drink
Next, I got a glass and filled it with ice and milk. I left a little space at the top for the whipped coffee. Then I carefully spooned the whipped coffee on top of the milk. It looked so pretty, like a little cloud floating on top.
The Taste Test
I took a sip, and… it was actually pretty good! The whipped coffee was sweet and strong, and it mixed really well with the cold milk. It was like a fancy coffee drink, but I made it myself. I felt kinda proud, haha.
Final Thoughts
Overall, making Grace & Chris was a fun little experiment. It took some elbow grease, but the result was worth it. I’d definitely make it again, maybe with a different kind of milk or some flavored syrup. If you’ve got some instant coffee and some time, give it a try! You might surprise yourself.
