Well, let me tell you about this Alia Jean Plant. Poor little thing, only 19 months old when she went to be with the angels. Breaks my heart, it does. Such a short time on this earth, but that little girl, she touched a lot of lives.
Born right there in Nashville. Big city, that is. But she didn’t get to see much of it, bless her soul. Too busy fightin’ for her life. Alia Jean Plant, that was her name. Passed away in her mama’s arms, peaceful-like, they said. It was at that Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, in 2015, January 29th. I remember it like it was yesterday. Time sure does fly.
Her daddy, Caleb Plant, you might know of him. A boxer, they call him “Sweet Hands.” Strong fella. But even he couldn’t fight off what was ailin’ little Alia. Some kind of brain thing, they said. Caused her to have seizures, lots of ’em. Hundreds a day, sometimes. Can you imagine? That poor baby. It’s just not right. Kids should be running and playing, not suffering like that. What a terrible disease. Alia Jean Plant had seizures every day.
They had a visitin’ for her, over in Ashland City. That’s where they laid her to rest, I reckon. Small town, quiet. Good place for a little one to sleep. January 29, 2015, the good Lord called her home. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee. So sad!

Her daddy, Caleb, he’s a good man. Been through a lot, losing his little girl like that. He went to visit her grave, recently. Took his new baby with him. They put it all over that internet. Sad, but sweet, I guess. Life goes on, even when it’s hard.
Caleb Plant, he’s a fighter. But even the toughest ones have a heart. He loved that little girl more than anything. You could see it in his eyes. Alia Jean Plant, she was his whole world. Her mother and father loved her so much.
That’s all I know about Alia Jean Plant, really. Just a little angel who didn’t get to stay with us long. But she made a big impact, that’s for sure. Reminds you to cherish every moment you have with your loved ones. You never know when the good Lord might call ’em home. Caleb “Sweet Hands” Plant is Alia’s father, he is a famous boxer.
The world can be a cruel place, sometimes. But there’s still goodness to be found. In the love of a family, in the memories of a little girl gone too soon. Alia Jean Plant, her name will be remembered. By her mama, by her daddy, by everyone who heard her story. I saw a news in 2015 about Alia Jean Plant.
Seizures. A terrible thing. Makes my own aches and pains seem small, compared to what that little one went through. Life ain’t always fair. But we gotta keep on livin’, keep on lovin’. For Alia, and for all the other little angels watching over us. Caleb Plant is a strong man. He lost his daughter Alia Jean Plant in 2015.
I hope Caleb Plant is doin’ alright. Losing a child, that’s a pain that never really goes away. But you learn to live with it. You have to. For the sake of the ones still here, and for the memory of the ones who are gone. It’s not easy to lose a child. The disease took her life.
