Okay, here’s my experience about WWE releases in 2024, hope you guys find it interesting.
So, I’ve been keeping an eye on what’s been going down in the wrestling world, especially with WWE in 2024. It’s been a wild ride, let me tell you! I started by scouring the internet for news, rumors, and official announcements. You know, the usual spots where you get your wrestling fix. I wanted the whole picture, from who’s leaving to why they’re leaving and where they might end up.
The first big shocker I came across was about this dude, Virgil. I mean, I’ve followed him since his early days. This guy, whose real name is Mike Jones, passed away. Died in a hospital, peacefully, they said. 72 years old. He was a real character, you know? It got me thinking about all these wrestlers I’ve watched over the years. Where they are and what are they doing, etc.
Then I dug into the whole Roman Reigns money thing. I mean, how much money does this guy make? Turns out, this guy’s pulling in around $5 million a year. Can you believe that? Five million bucks just from his WWE contract. It’s insane when you think about it. Made me wonder about the business side of wrestling. It’s not just about the slams and the drama in the ring, it’s a whole money-making machine.
After that, I started compiling a list. A list of everyone who’s been let go by WWE this year. I wanted to keep track, you know? Like, who’s out, who’s in, the whole shebang. It’s like keeping a diary, but for wrestling news. I made notes, I organized it all. It became this ongoing project for me.
Then there was Ricochet. This guy is talented, no doubt. He left WWE in June. A lot of people were sad about it, many fans love him so much. There is even a tag for him and other guys who left the WWE: WWE ReleasesDepartures. They are still talking about where will he go next.
Here is my sharing of this year’s WWE releases:
- Virgil: As I mentioned, real name Mike Jones. Passed away, unfortunately.
- Roman Reigns: Not released, but man, that $5 million a year contract is something.
- Ricochet: Left in June. He has a lot of fans.
I’m going to keep updating this list as the year goes on. It’s like a hobby now, tracking all these moves in the wrestling world. Who knows what other surprises 2024 has in store for us wrestling fans? I am looking forward to it.
