So, I was just messing around online today, trying to find out some stuff about Justin Jefferson, you know, the football guy. I was curious about when he got drafted into the NFL.
I started by hitting up Google, which is my usual go-to for these kinds of questions. I just typed in “when was Justin Jefferson drafted” and boom, tons of results popped up.
Here’s what I did:
- Searched on Google: First thing I did was a simple Google search. Easy peasy.
- Checked Out a Few Pages: I clicked on a couple of the top search results. You know how it is, some are better than others.
- Looked for the Draft Year: I was mainly scanning for the year he was drafted. That was the key piece of info I was after.
It didn’t take me long to find out that Jefferson was picked by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2020 NFL draft. Apparently, he was the 22nd overall pick, which is pretty cool. I also saw that he played for the LSU Tigers in college. That’s where he made a name for himself, it seems.
Then I dug a little deeper ’cause I was on a roll. Turns out, this guy’s a beast! He’s been with the Vikings for 5 seasons now and has some crazy stats. We’re talking 484 catches, 7,286 yards, and 41 touchdowns. Plus, he’s been to the Pro Bowl 3 times and even won an Offensive Player of the Year award. Not too shabby, right?
And get this, I read that he just signed a deal that makes him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history. They even mentioned that WME Football negotiated the deal for him. I guess they are some kind of big-shot agent or something.
Honestly, it was just a casual search, but I ended up learning a lot more about Justin Jefferson than I expected. It’s pretty interesting how one simple question can lead you down a rabbit hole of information. That’s the internet for ya!
I saw he has set an NFL record for the most receiving yards in five seasons.
So yeah, that’s my little adventure for today. Just thought I’d share it since I found it all pretty interesting. Maybe you did too!
