This here Destiny 2, it’s a real head-scratcher, I tell ya. All these young’uns runnin’ around, shootin’ this and that. Back in my day, we just had to worry about gettin’ the cows milked. But now, it’s all about these… these… code mutations. Sounds fancy, don’t it? Like somethin’ you’d see on one of them science shows.
They say you gotta collect these code mutations. Now, how you gonna collect a code? It ain’t like pickin’ berries, that’s for sure. And what in tarnation is a Battlegrounds Delve and Conduit? Lordy, I don’t know what it is. Sounds like a whole lot of nothin’ to me. I reckon it’s somethin’ you gotta do in that game, though. I heard it was somethin’ you do after you collect the codes. Kids these days, always doin’ things the hard way.
And get this – they got a name for it now! They’s callin’ it somethin’ fancy, but my brain is old, I can’t remember it. Before, they just called it “that error thing.” Seems folks been havin’ trouble with it. I heard it from my neighbor’s kid. Kept gettin’ kicked out. He tried all sorts of things. Said he was verifyin’ files. What is that mean? He also said he uninstalled and reinstalled. Sounds like puttin’ up a fence, then takin’ it down, then puttin’ it up again. Don’t make a lick of sense to me.
And then there’s the “graphics settings.” Don’t know what that is. Probably somethin’ to do with them pictures. And don’t even get me started on them error codes. Like a secret language or somethin’. Says here even the most powerful “build” can’t save you. Now what’s a build? Is that like buildin’ a house? And why would you need to be saved from a code? This whole thing is just too much for my old brain.
October 25, they made an update, they’s still talking about it, these errors and such. Bunch of kids are saying they got problems with it.
Here’s the thing they say about gettin’ these code mutations. You gotta find somethin’ called “Radiolaria.” Sounds like a disease, don’t it? They say it drops from somethin’. And there’s this thing called “Breach Executable activity.” What in the world is that? They say when you hit these “Planetary Pistons”, somethin’ called “Radiolite” will spawn. Planetary Pistons? Sounds like somethin’ outta one of them space movies. And Radiolite? Is that like a rock? This whole thing is just plain silly.
- First, you gotta find that Radiolaria stuff.
- Then you gotta do that Breach Executable thing.
- Hit them Planetary Pistons.
- And then you get that Radiolite.
- And that’s how you get them code mutations, I guess.
They say if you keep gettin’ disconnected, and you see all these different error codes, it means there’s somethin’ wrong, but they don’t know what. They say it’s probably somethin’ to do with your “network setup.” What’s a network? Is that like a fishin’ net? And why would it be unstable? Sounds like it’s gonna fall over. These young people, they need to start talkin’ plain English.
They got so many of these errors, I don’t know how they keep them all in mind. But these codes, these code mutations, they say you need them, if you want to get somewhere in this Destiny 2 game.
You see, these code mutations in Destiny 2, they’re like… like the secret ingredient in your grandma’s apple pie. You gotta have ’em, or it just ain’t right. It is a must. And they’re a pain to get, just like pickin’ apples off a high branch.
Back in my day, we didn’t have these fancy games. We had to make our own fun. We’d play marbles, or hopscotch, or just tell stories. Simple things. But these kids today, they got their heads stuck in these screens. And they’re chasin’ after these code mutations like they’re gold or somethin’. Maybe they are. I wouldn’t know. All I know is, it sounds like a whole lot of trouble for somethin’ that ain’t even real.
Well, I reckon that’s all I got to say about these code mutations in Destiny 2. It’s a mystery to me, and probably always will be. But if you’re one of them young’uns playin’ that game, I hope you figure it out. Just don’t forget to go outside and get some fresh air every now and then. It’s good for ya. And don’t be gettin’ too frustrated with them error codes. Just take a deep breath and remember, it’s just a game. It ain’t worth it to get a stroke over it.
