Well, if you’re wonderin’ ’bout how many gigabytes “NCAA 25” or “EA Sports College Football 25” is, let me tell ya. From what I heard, it’s around 27 GB for PlayStation 5, and a little bit bigger on the Xbox—about 32.4 GB. But, mind ya, these things can change as time goes on. With updates, patches, and all them bug fixes they keep throwin’ in, the size might get bigger after the game’s out.
Now, if you’re thinkin’ the game’s size is a bit small, well, that’s ‘cause EA decided to rebuild the whole dang thing. No more old code makin’ it all bloated like some of them other games. That’s probably why the initial size is a bit lighter compared to some of them other big ol’ games. But don’t get too comfy with them small numbers, ‘cause once the updates roll out, things can get bigger. I mean, after the game first launched, they added a few patches—like 1 GB for PlayStation, and 8 GB for the Xbox! Now, that’s a lot, ain’t it?
And I know some folks were askin’, “Well, how come it’s not on the PlayStation 4 or the old Xbox One?” Well, that’s ‘cause EA’s movin’ on to bigger and better things, hon. They’re only puttin’ it out on the PlayStation 5 and them newer Xbox Series X|S consoles. Guess they want the game to run smoother and look prettier, so they ain’t wastin’ no time with the old machines.
Some of y’all might be wonderin’ if it’s comin’ to PC too. Yup, it’s there, but don’t expect it on Game Pass or none of that cloud stuff for Xbox. You’ll have to buy it regular-like.
Now, I know all this talk ‘bout gigabytes and file sizes might sound a bit much, but it’s important if you want to know how much space to clear out on your console. I reckon if you got a PS5, you’ll be fine with 27 GB to start with. But remember, keep an eye on your updates, ‘cause that size can grow. Better save yourself a little extra room just in case.
