Well, well, well, lookie here! It’s that time again, ain’t it? That Peg E rewards thing is comin’ back to Monopoly GO! June 29th, they say. That’s what them young folks is all excited about. Gotta get them tokens, I reckon. They call ’em Peg-E Prize Drop somethin’ or other. Sounds fancy, don’t it?
I heard from my neighbor, Bessie, that this thing starts at, uh, 11 in the mornin’. Eastern time, she said. Now, I don’t know what that means, but it sounds important. And it lasts for four whole days! Plenty of time to get them prizes, I suppose.
They say you gotta land on them railroad spots. Railroad tiles, they call ’em. Then you get to attack other folks, them other players. Just like in real life, I guess! You gotta fight for what you want, even if it’s just some silly game. And you gotta get points, lots and lots of points to climb that, uh, leaderboard. That’s what they call it. Like climbin’ a real ladder, but with numbers instead of steps, I guess. Only 99 other people. Should be easy. These other folks don’t know strategy like I do.
That Peg-E thing, it’s like one of them machines at the fair, you know? The ones where you put in a coin and watch it bounce around. Except here, you use them special tokens. Peg-E tokens, that’s it! You drop ’em in and watch ’em go, bouncin’ off them bumpers, whatever those are. And then they land in a slot, and you get a prize. Simple enough, even for an old gal like me to understand.
Now, there’s this other thing, these “Quick Wins” things. You do these little tasks, whatever they are, and you get points. And if you do ’em every day for a whole week, you get a big prize! They say it’s a “five-star Purple Sticker Pack”. Sounds mighty fancy, don’t it? I don’t know what it is, but it sounds like somethin’ worth gettin’. Better than a poke in the eye, that’s for sure! They also say you can get a “Wild Sticker,” and that it is “incredible.” Don’t know what a “Wild Sticker” is, but I sure am excited!
My grandson, Timmy, he’s all excited about this Monopoly GO thing. He’s always on that phone of his, tappin’ away. He says this Peg-E thing is his favorite. Says it’s “addictive”. I don’t know what that means, but it sounds like somethin’ you can’t stop doin’. Like eatin’ them cookies Bessie makes. Once you start, you just can’t stop!
I asked Timmy what happens to them tokens you don’t use. He said they just disappear! Poof! Gone! So you better use ’em all up, I reckon. Don’t want to waste nothin’. Waste not, want not, that’s what my mama always used to say.

I reckon this Monopoly GO thing is all the rage these days. Them young folks sure do love their games. Back in my day, we didn’t have all these fancy gadgets. We played outside, in the dirt! But I guess times change. And if this Peg-E thing makes ’em happy, then that’s all that matters. As long as they don’t forget to call their old grandma every now and then, that is!
Well, I gotta go now. Got chores to do. And maybe I’ll try this Monopoly GO thing myself. See what all the fuss is about. Might even show them young folks a thing or two about strategy! After all, I wasn’t born yesterday. I’ve been around the block a few times, you know. I know a thing or two about gettin’ what you want. And you better believe it’s gonna be worth it to win peg e rewards june 29.
Just gotta figure out how to work this darn phone first! These buttons are so tiny. And my eyesight ain’t what it used to be. Maybe Timmy can help me. He’s good with these things. Now he’s all grown up, playin’ these video games. Time sure does fly, don’t it? One minute they’re in diapers, the next they’re teachin’ you how to play Monopoly GO. Life’s a funny thing, ain’t it?
