They say Svitolina’s a “favorite,” that just means folks think she’ll win. But even favorites lose sometimes, ya know. Just like how even the best rooster can get beat by a scrappy hen.

They also said she’s gonna play against Anna Kalinskaya in Italy. Beat her too, two sets straight. See? Told ya she’s tough. Then there’s this other match they talkin’ about, against Avanesyan. Again, Svitolina’s the favorite. They got these numbers, like +220, +5000, and such. Confuses the heck outta me, but it’s got somethin’ to do with who they think will win.
So, what’s my prediction? Well, like I said, I ain’t no fortune teller. But if you ask me, this Svitolina girl, she’s got the fire in her belly. She’s a fighter. She ain’t gonna give up easy. Will she win every match? Probably not. But she’ll give it her all, every single time. And that’s more than you can say for some folks, let me tell ya.
They got these tournaments goin’ on in March, at that Indian Wells place. And then there’s the US Open, that’s a big one. And that Italian Open too. Lots of tennis, lots of chances for Svitolina to show what she’s got. She’s ranked number 28, they say. That’s pretty good, right? Sounds fancy. I seen her play. She’s got a good swing, real strong. And she’s quick, like a rabbit in the garden. That’s important in tennis, seein’ as how that ball goes flyin’ all over the place.
Now, these other girls she’s playin’, they ain’t no slouches either. Navarro, Kalinina, Kalinskaya, Avanesyan, they all wanna win just as bad as Svitolina. But I think Svitolina’s got somethin’ special. She’s got that grit, that determination. She’s like a good ol’ hound dog, she just keeps chasin’ that ball ’til she gets it.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a prediction, here’s mine: Svitolina’s gonna win some, and she’s gonna lose some. That’s just the way tennis is. But she’s gonna fight, she’s gonna give it her all, and she’s gonna make folks proud. That’s what I think. And that’s all I gotta say about that.
