Alright, let’s talk about what’s in that fella Lucas Glover’s golf bag. Don’t know much about golf myself, but I can tell ya what they say he’s carryin’. Sounds like he’s got a whole heap of clubs in there.
First off, they say he’s got this Srixon ZX7 MK II irons, from number 5 to PW, whatever that means. Sounds fancy, huh? And for them longer shots, he’s got a Srixon ZX5 MK II 4-iron. They say it helps him out when he’s hittin’ from the tee, makes it a bit easier, like. Guess even them pros need a little help sometimes.
Now, about his driver. Seems like he switches it up a bit. One time they said he had a Titleist GT2 with a 10 degree something or other. Then there’s talk of a Srixon Z785 with a 9.5 degree and somethin’ called a Fujikura Ventus Blue 7 X shaft. Sounds like a bunch of mumbo jumbo to me, but I reckon it helps him hit the ball real far. That’s the point, ain’t it?
- For them woods, this fella’s got a Ping G430 Max 5-wood, 18 degrees they say, with a Fujikura Ventus Black 10 X shaft. They say he’s real good at hittin’ them long approach shots with it. Must be a good club then.
- And a Ping G430 Max 3-wood, 15 degrees, for when he needs somethin’ in between that driver and them irons, I guess. Like I said, I ain’t no golf expert, just tellin’ ya what I heard.
Then there’s the putter. This here’s a funny one. Seems he changed it up recently. They say he’s usin’ a Golf DF3 broomstick putter now. Replaced some other long-handled thing he had before, a L.A.B. Mezz. 1 Max, or somethin’ like that. They say that old putter helped him win a couple of times last year. Guess he likes this new one better though.
And what about the balls? He uses Srixon Z-Star XV Golf Balls. They say it’s for fellas who swing real hard, over 100 miles per hour. Some other fellas use ‘em too, Hideki somethin’-or-other, Shane Lowry, and a few more. They say it’s a new kind, three pieces or somethin’. Again, sounds fancy.
This Lucas Glover fella, he seems like a family man too. Got a wife, Krista, and two little ones, a girl named Lucille and a boy named Lucas Jr. That’s nice, ain’t it? Family’s important, more important than hittin’ little white balls around, if you ask me.
They say he won this Wyndham Championship thing last August. And he was doin’ real good at the beginning of some FedExCup Playoffs. Hot as a pistol, they said. Seems like he knows what he’s doin’ with them clubs, whatever they are.
So there ya have it, what’s in Lucas Glover’s bag, as best as I can tell ya. A bunch of fancy sticks and balls, and probably a whole lot of skill. He plays golf real good, that’s for sure. This is what they are sayin’ anyways, folks are always gossiping. Don’t know why they make such a fuss about what’s in some fella’s bag.
In short, this is what that fella Lucas Glover uses:
- Irons: Srixon ZX7 MK II (5-PW), Srixon ZX5 MK II (4-iron)
- Driver: Titleist GT2 (10 degrees) or Srixon Z785 (9.5 degrees) with Fujikura shafts
- Woods: Ping G430 Max 5-wood (18 degrees), Ping G430 Max 3-wood (15 degrees) with Fujikura shafts
- Putter: Golf DF3 broomstick putter
- Golf Balls: Srixon Z-Star XV
Anyways, that’s the gist of it. Hope it makes some sense to ya.
