Alright, let me tell ya ’bout this place, Ban Pa. Folks been whisperin’, somethin’ ain’t right over there. A shadow, they call it. Scary stuff, if you ask me.
Now, this fella, Handshake, he’s got a job for ya. Wants ya to go snoop around Ban Pa. Says there’s two ways in, a north one and a south one. He gives some numbers, somethin’ about 205 and 138 for the north, and 204 and 136 for the south. Don’t ask me what it means, sounds like gibberish to me. But you gotta find ’em, I guess.
Seems like there’s this… cult. Yeah, a bunch of weirdos worshippin’ somethin’ they shouldn’t. They’re holed up in Ban Pa, makin’ trouble. Handshake, he wants you to check it out. Wants proof, he says. Gotta find somethin’ to show him these cult folks ain’t right.
There’s this old fella, lives in Ban Pa. They call him the Elder. Got a house there, important place it seems. You gotta go north of his house, see? There’s a fishin’ hut, all locked up. That’s where the goods are, the proof Handshake needs. More numbers though, 205 and 137. Like I said, gibberish. But you gotta find that hut.
- First, find Ban Pa.
- Then, find the north way in, and the south way in.
- After that, go north of the Elder’s house.
- Look for a locked fishin’ hut. That’s where the evidence is.
It ain’t gonna be easy, mind you. This shadow, it ain’t just a name. It’s somethin’ bad, somethin’ you can feel in your bones. People are scared, and for good reason. This cult, they ain’t playin’ around.
Handshake, he’s payin’ good money for this, though. Says he’ll give ya some guns, M4A1s they’re called. And seven thousand dollars! That’s a lot of money, even for city folks. And somethin’ else too, a “one” he says. Don’t know what that means, but it must be important.
This whole thing, they call it a quest. Like somethin’ outta them fairy tales my grandpappy used to tell. But this ain’t no story, this is real. People are in danger, and you gotta help ’em. You gotta go to Ban Pa, face the shadow, and bring back the proof.
Some folks say there’s a weird book at the Elder’s house too. Somethin’ about “Mounds of Madness”. Sounds like a whole other mess to me. But maybe it’s connected, maybe it ain’t. Just keep your eyes open, and your wits about ya. That’s all I can say.
So, you gonna do it? You gonna go to Ban Pa and face the shadow? It ain’t for the faint of heart, that’s for sure. But if you’re brave, and if you’re smart, you might just make it out alive. And with a pocket full of cash, too. Just remember, be careful. And don’t trust nobody.
This Ban Pa place, it’s trouble. Heard it’s in some place they call the “AO”. Don’t know what that means, but it sounds far. And this “Gray Zone Warfare”? Sounds like fightin’ to me. City folk and their fancy words. Just go there, do what Handshake says, and get out. That’s the best advice I can give ya.
And that’s the story of the shadow over Ban Pa. Or at least, what I’ve heard. Now you go on and do what you gotta do. And be safe, ya hear?
