Alright, let’s talk about this Utah Utes stadium, you know, the place where them young fellas run around with the football. I ain’t never been there myself, mind you, too busy with my chickens and such, but I heard folks talkin’. So, if you’re plannin’ on goin’, you gotta figure out where you wanna sit, right? It ain’t just showin’ up and ploppin’ down wherever, no sir.
They got this thing called a seating chart. Sounds fancy, but it’s just a picture of where all the seats are. Like a map, but for butts, I reckon. And this here Rice-Eccles Stadium, that’s where the Utes play. Now, I seen pictures, and it’s big, real big. Lots of places to sit, from what I gather.
Now, you wanna see good? Course you do! Nobody wants to watch ants playin’ football. They say you wanna be close, right up front if you can. Makes sense, the closer you are, the bigger them fellas look. But, and there’s always a but, ain’t it? They got these big screens, see? Like giant TVs, only bigger. And if you sit right under ’em, well, you ain’t seein’ nothin’ on that screen, that’s for sure. And the roof, they say the roof messes things up too, blockin’ your view of the other screen. So, you gotta be smart about it, real smart.
- Front row is good, real good, if you can get it.
- Don’t sit right under the big screens, or you’ll be sorry.
- Think about that roof, it can be a sneaky one.
Then there’s them college kids, the students. They got their own section, a whole corner of the stadium, they say. Sections E38 to E42, if you wanna know. And let me tell ya, them kids are loud! They yell and scream and make a whole lotta noise. So, if you like that kind of ruckus, that’s where you wanna be. But if you like things a bit quieter, well, maybe stay away from them young’uns.
And what about the folks rootin’ for the other team? Yeah, they got a spot too. Section W7, they say. So, if you’re wearin’ the wrong colors, you might wanna steer clear of that area, unless you like gettin’ into it with folks. Me? I like to keep things peaceful, but to each their own, I always say.
Now, how do you figure out where to sit exactly? Well, they got these 3D seatmaps, fancy things that let you look around the stadium on your computer or phone, I guess. You can see what the view is like from different seats, which is mighty helpful, I reckon. ‘Cause nobody wants to buy a ticket and then find out they’re starin’ at the back of somebody’s head the whole time.
And speakin’ of tickets, you gotta buy them, of course. Can’t just walk in, unless you wanna get yourself into trouble. They got all sorts of prices, dependin’ on where you sit and who they’re playin’, I imagine. They even got a ticket guide, tells you all about the schedule and how much things cost. Handy, real handy.
So, to sum it all up, findin’ a good seat at the Utah Utes stadium is all about thinkin’ ahead. Look at that seating chart, check out that 3D seatmap, and decide what kind of view you want and how much you wanna spend. And don’t forget about them screens and that roof! And if you don’t wanna be surrounded by hollerin’ college kids or the other team’s fans, well, keep that in mind too. It ain’t rocket science, but it takes a little bit of plannin’, that’s for sure. And if you do it right, you’ll have a good time watchin’ them Utes play football, I reckon.
Now, go on and get yourself them tickets, and have a good time, y’hear? And don’t forget to bring a blanket, it can get chilly sittin’ out there for a whole game, even in Utah. I know, ’cause I’ve sat on my porch watchin’ them chickens for hours, and it gets cold, even in the summer sometimes.
SeatGeek, they say, is a good place to find tickets and see them seat views. But I ain’t never used it myself, just heard folks talkin’. They got these interactive maps, makes it easy to pick a good spot, so they say.
And remember, whether you’re watchin’ Weber State Wildcats, Washington State Cougars, Arizona State Sun Devils, or UCLA Bruins play against the Utah Utes, findin’ the right seat is important. Makes the whole game better, they tell me.
So that’s about all I know about that stadium. Hope it helps ya out. Now, I gotta go feed them chickens. They gettin’ mighty restless, squawkin’ and all.
