Alright, so you wanna know about this Marjon Beauchamp fella and his folks, huh? Well, let me tell ya, I don’t know nothin’ ’bout fancy basketball or them NBA fellas, but I can piece together what I heard from the TV and them young’uns talkin’.
This Marjon Beauchamp, he’s a basketball player, see? Plays for the Milwaukee Bucks. They say he’s pretty good, got picked in somethin’ called the “draft” in 2022. Big deal, I guess. Folks was makin’ a fuss about it.
Now, about his parents… that’s where it gets a bit tricky. They don’t talk much about his mama on the TV, but they do mention his daddy a fair bit. His name is Jon, plain and simple like.
- Jon Beauchamp, that’s his daddy.
- Seems like Jon played some basketball himself back in the day.
- Played for some colleges, Eastern Washington and Highline College, they said.
- Now, he works in customer relations in some place called Bellevue, Washington. And get this, he used to be on the radio! Imagine that, little Marjon’s daddy talkin’ on the radio waves.
- Don’t hear much about his mama, though. Maybe she likes to stay outta the limelight, nothin’ wrong with that. A good woman keeps her family strong and doesn’t need all that fuss.
Marjon, he was born in the year 2000, October 12th to be exact. Makes him a young fella, still wet behind the ears if you ask me. But hey, if he’s good at that basketball, then good for him.
They also say Marjon’s got some Native American blood in him. Somethin’ about Mission Indians and La Jolla Band of Luiseño Indians. Don’t know much about that neither, but it sounds important. He’s proud of it, they say. And that’s good, a young man should be proud of where he comes from.
Folks in Yakima, Washington, they seem real proud of him too. Seems like he went to college there for a bit, played basketball for Yakima Valley College. His daddy was right there with him, standin’ behind him. That’s how it should be a father supporting his son.
And there’s somethin’ else, too. Seems like a lot of young Native American kids look up to him. Marjon, he didn’t even know they were watchin’ him so close. But now that he does, he wants to do right by them. That’s a good heart that boy has, wanting to help the young ones. They didn’t have it easy, and he remembers that.
So, to sum it all up, Marjon Beauchamp’s got a daddy named Jon who played basketball and worked on the radio. His mama, she’s not talked about much. Marjon’s got Native American roots, and he’s playin’ for the Milwaukee Bucks. He cares about where he comes from, and he wants to be a good example for them young’uns lookin’ up to him. That’s about all I know, and that’s plenty if you ask me.
Seems like a good boy, this Marjon. Hope he stays outta trouble and keeps makin’ his folks proud. That’s the most important thing, ain’t it?
