So, the other day, I was just kicking back, thinking about random stuff, you know? And somehow, old school wrestling came up in my head. Man, those were the days. Remember all those characters?

Specifically, Rikishi popped into my mind. The big man, the dancing, the Stink Face! Classic stuff. Had some good laughs watching him back then.
Then this thought hit me, kinda outta nowhere: “Hold on, is Rikishi still alive?” It sounds a bit grim, I know, but let’s be honest, we’ve lost a few legends over the years, sometimes you just lose track.
My Quick Search Journey
Naturally, I couldn’t just leave it there. My curiosity got the better of me. So, I did what most folks would do these days – I grabbed my phone while sitting on the couch.
- First thing, I just opened up my browser.
- Typed in something simple like “Rikishi wrestler alive“. Didn’t need anything fancy.
- Hit search and waited a sec for the results to load up.
Right away, I started seeing stuff. There were recent news bits, mentions of him on social media, things like that. I saw some pictures that definitely looked recent, not like old promo shots from back in the day.
I clicked on a couple of the results, just skimming through. Read a bit about what he’s been up to. Seems he’s still involved in the wrestling world in some ways, maybe appearances or something with his family, ’cause his sons are wrestlers too, right? The Usos. Yeah, that connects.
The Answer
So, after just a minute or two of poking around, it was pretty clear. Yes, Rikishi is definitely still alive and kicking. Which, honestly, was good to hear. It’s nice when you check up on someone you remember fondly from years ago and find out they’re doing okay.
It wasn’t some deep investigation or anything, just a quick search because the question popped into my head. Glad I checked, though. Always liked the guy. Brought back some good memories of watching wrestling way back when.
