Okay, so I found myself wondering about Andy Reid the other day. You know, the coach for the Kansas City Chiefs. Big guy, looks kinda like a friendly walrus, always seems pretty calm on the sideline. With all the success the Chiefs have had lately, the question just popped into my head: exactly how many Super Bowl rings does this guy have?

My first thought was, well, he’s been around a while, coached the Eagles before the Chiefs. He definitely got some wins with Mahomes. Maybe two? Or was it three already? I wasn’t entirely sure.
So, I did what most of us do. I grabbed my phone while sitting on the couch. Opened up my usual search engine – you know the one. I typed in something straightforward, probably like “andy reid super bowl rings” or maybe “how many super bowls did andy reid win”. Something simple like that.
The search results came up pretty quick. Lots of sports sites, news articles, the usual stuff. I skimmed through the first few snippets.
Finding the Number
It became clear pretty fast. The number that kept showing up was three. But I wanted to be sure these were rings he won as a head coach. Sometimes they count rings won as an assistant coach or something, which is fine, but I was specifically curious about his record leading the team.
Looking closer at the results, they specifically mentioned his head coaching victories:
- One win against the San Francisco 49ers (Super Bowl LIV)
- Another win against the Philadelphia Eagles (Super Bowl LVII) – kinda ironic, huh? Beating his old team.
- And the most recent one, again against the 49ers (Super Bowl LVIII).
So, yeah. The answer is three. All won with the Kansas City Chiefs. He went to the Super Bowl with the Eagles back in the day but didn’t win that one as head coach. He did get a ring earlier in his career as an assistant coach with the Green Bay Packers (Super Bowl XXXI), but my main question was about his head coaching tally.
It’s pretty impressive when you think about it. Coaching is a tough gig, and winning the big game multiple times is a huge accomplishment. Anyway, that cleared it up for me. Three rings as the main man in charge. Solid record.
