Okay, so I’ve been wanting a Clayton Kershaw signed card for, like, forever. He’s a legend, and I finally decided to take the plunge and get one. I’m gonna walk you through how I did it, ’cause it was a bit of a process.

First Steps: Finding a Legit Card
First thing I did was hit up the internet. I mean, where else do you go? I started searching for “Clayton Kershaw signed card” and, boy, did I get a LOT of results. Lots of places selling them, but I wanted to be super careful about getting a fake.
I quickly realized I needed to focus on reputable sellers. No way was I going to risk it with some random, sketchy place.
Checking for Authentication
So, I narrowed it down to a few sites that looked promising. The next big thing was authentication. I learned that you gotta look for cards that are authenticated by the big names,.
- PSA/DNA: These guys are, like, the gold standard for autograph authentication.
- Beckett Authentication Services (BAS): Another really respected authenticator.
- JSA (James Spence Authentication): I saw these guys pop up a lot too, and they seem legit.
If a card wasn’t authenticated by one of these, I moved on. No thanks, I wanted the real deal!
Digging Deeper into the Listings
Once I found some authenticated cards, I started looking closely at the details. Things like:
- The Photo: Was it a cool action shot? Did it look like a good quality card?
- The Signature: I compared the signature to known Kershaw autographs online. Did it look right? Was it clear and not smudged?
- The Card Condition: Were there any creases or bent corners? I wanted a card in good shape!
I spent a good chunk of time just comparing different cards and reading the descriptions really carefully.
Making the Purchase!
Finally, I found THE ONE. It was a beautiful card, PSA/DNA authenticated, great signature, awesome photo – everything I wanted. I double-checked the seller’s ratings and reviews, made sure they had a good return policy (just in case!), and then… I bought it!
Waiting and Receiving…
The waiting was the hardest part! I was so excited. When it finally arrived, I was like a kid on Christmas morning. I carefully opened the package, and there it was… my very own Clayton Kershaw signed card! It was even better in person. I immediately put it in a protective sleeve and top loader to keep it safe.

So, yeah, that’s my story of getting a Clayton Kershaw signed card. It took some research and patience, but it was totally worth it. Now I have a piece of baseball history that I can treasure.
