Alright, so I’ve been wanting to get my jersey ready for the Copa America 2024, and that includes getting the right patches on it. Here’s how I went about it.

Finding the Patches
First things first, I needed to find the actual patches. This turned out to be a bit of a hunt. I started by looking around online stores.
- I checked a few of the usual spots.
- I also looked into some specialized soccer shops online.
It took some digging, but I eventually found a place that had them.
Getting the Patches On
Now, I’m no expert in applying patches, so I wanted to be extra careful. I watched a couple of videos to see how other folks did it.
There seem to be two main ways to attach patches: sewing and heat-pressing.
-
Sewing:
I could sew them on. That would be most permanent way, I thought maybe I could use my hands to sew them, but I am afraid that would destory my jersey.
-
Heat Press:
Since I don’t have one of those fancy heat press machines, I decided to try using a regular household iron. The key, I learned, is to use the right amount of heat and pressure, and to protect the jersey and the patch with a cloth. But I don’t have iron, either.
So I decided to go to a tailor’s shop to get the patches on, that make my jersey looks perfect!
Final Touches
After the patches were attached, It is perfect! Now my jersey is all set for Copa America 2024!
