Okay, so I got sucked into this whole Sherrone Moore meme thing today. It started innocently enough. I was just scrolling through my usual sports feeds, and I kept seeing this name – Sherrone Moore. I was like, “Who’s this guy again?” I vaguely remembered he was the interim coach for Michigan, you know, when Harbaugh was suspended.

But then, BAM! Memes everywhere. Pictures, videos, everything. So, naturally, I had to investigate. What did I do? I dove headfirst into the internet.
The Deep Dive
First, I checked out some of the big sports sites. I needed context, right? I read up on the games he coached, his post-game interviews… the whole nine yards. Found out the dude’s pretty intense, passionate, and a real player’s coach. Good stuff.
Next, it was time for the real gold: the memes themselves.
- The Crying Jordan/Sherrone Moore mashup. Classic. You see Moore’s fired-up face superimposed onto the crying Jordan meme. Perfect for those emotional wins.
- The “We’re Not Gonna Be Stopped” meme. Apparently, it’s taken off from one of his determined quotes. There were images of him with that caption, superimposed onto all kinds of unstoppable forces – trains, tanks, you name it. Hilarious.
- Loads of “My Coach” type memes. You know, the ones where people compare their awesome coach to a regular, boring coach. These were all about how much Michigan fans loved Moore.
Then I spent at least an hour getting lost on social media. Sports fans are an intense amount and creative, I’ll give ’em that. Every other post was a Sherrone Moore meme, a hot take, or some wild fan edit.
Crafting My Own
After seeing all that, I couldn’t resist. I had to make my own Sherrone Moore meme. Nothing fancy, I’m no graphic design wizard.
I grabbed a screenshot from one of his post-game interviews – the one where he’s super emotional. His face said it all. I just added a simple caption:
“Me trying to explain to the server that I did, in fact, want extra fries.”
It was a little rough, but it did the trick. It was a lot of fun to see the process of creating one from getting the images and putting some captions on it.
So, that was my day. Sherrone Moore memes. Who knew? But hey, it was a fun little rabbit hole to fall down. And I learned a little something about a football coach along the way. Not a bad way to spend a day, I guess!
