Okay, so “wendy lucho” – sounds like a random combo, right? I thought so too. But I was bored yesterday, and this phrase popped into my head. I decided to just roll with it and see where it would take me.

First, I googled it. Just typed “wendy lucho” into the search bar. Nothing concrete came up, some scattered stuff, nothing I could really grab onto. It felt like chasing a ghost, you know?
My “wendy lucho” Experiment
Since Google wasn’t much help, I figured, “Why not make something up?”. I opened up a blank document on my computer. Stared at it for a good five minutes. Total blank. Then I started typing, just free-associating whatever came to mind related to those two words.
- Wendy: Made me think of the fast-food chain, obviously. Then, red hair, pigtails… a kind of playful, innocent vibe.
- Lucho: Sounded Spanish, maybe a name? Gave me a feeling of warmth, sunshine, maybe a bit of a struggle, a fight.
I started weaving these random thoughts together. I imagined Wendy as a character, maybe a young girl with fiery red hair who’s full of energy. Then, Lucho became her challenge, her “fight” – could be anything, really. Maybe she’s fighting to save her family’s restaurant? Or learning a difficult dance? Or standing up to a bully?
I didn’t really plan it out. I just kept typing, letting the ideas flow. It was messy, a total jumble of sentences and half-formed thoughts. But it was fun! It felt like I was uncovering something, even if it was just in my own head.
After about an hour, I had a page full of messy, but kind of interesting, ideas. It wasn’t a story, not yet. More like a collection of ingredients. I decided to let it sit overnight.
Then, I re-read all my texts this moring.
I re-organized my * gradually turns into a young girl with fiery red hair that has a pet and is full of energy to save her family’s restaurant story.

So, that’s my “wendy lucho” experience. Started with nothing, ended up with… well, still not much, but something. A spark of an idea. It just shows you, sometimes the most random things can lead to unexpected places if you’re willing to play along.
