Okay, so I’ve been seeing these golf bracelets for men popping up all over my social media feeds. I’m not a huge golfer, but I like the style, and I figured, “Why not try making one myself?” So, here’s how my little DIY project went down.

First, I gathered my materials. I didn’t want to spend a ton, so I kept it pretty basic:
- Some strong, stretchy cord – I think it was like a 1mm thickness. I wanted something that could hold up.
- Beads! I went with some simple black ones, and a few silver ones for a little accent. You could totally customize this part.
- A pair of scissors. That’s pretty much it.
Getting Started
I started by measuring the cord. I wrapped it around my wrist a couple of times, leaving plenty of extra length for tying knots and stuff. Better to have too much than too little, right?
Then, I started stringing the beads. I did a pattern of like, five black beads, then one silver, then five black, and so on. Honestly, I just eyeballed it. There’s no real science to it.
Once I had all the beads on, it was time to tie it off. This was the trickiest part, I’m not gonna lie. I attempted a few different knots, but ended up just doing a simple square knot. I pulled it super tight, and then trimmed the extra cord, leaving just a little bit sticking out.
The Finish Line
And… that’s it! Seriously, it was way easier than I thought. I put it on, and it actually looked pretty good! It’s comfortable, fits well, and I think it adds a nice little touch to my everyday outfits. I even wore it to play a round of mini golf.
The whole thing probably took me like, 20 minutes, tops. And the best part is, it cost next to nothing to make. If you’re looking for a simple, stylish accessory, and you’re not afraid of a little DIY, I’d definitely recommend giving this a shot. You might surprise yourself!
