Okay, so I saw this headline: “Charlotte Flair Cast in New Horror Movie” and I was like, WHAT?! Gotta find out more. My girl Charlotte in a horror movie? This I gotta see.
First thing I did was, you know, hit up the usual spots – you know what i am saying. Started scrolling, scrolling, scrolling… nothing concrete. Just a bunch of fan pages re-posting the same basic info.
Then I deepened my search. I started looking at smaller movie news sites, horror blogs, that kinda thing. Bingo! Found a couple of articles with a bit more detail. Seems like it’s an indie film, low budget, but with a director who’s done some interesting stuff before.
Digging into the Production
Next, I wanted to see if there was any behind-the-scenes stuff. Checked the director’s social media, looked for any production company info I could find. It’s still super early, so not much out there. I did manage to fine one of picture which seems a cast photo.
What I did find was a mention of a potential filming location – some small town a couple of hours from where I live. I’m half-tempted to, like, do a “recon” mission, haha. But I’m not that crazy… yet.
Keeping Tabs
So, what I’ve done is set up some alerts. You know, so I get notified whenever there’s news about this movie. I’ve bookmarked a few of the more reliable sites I found. I’m basically just gonna be refreshing pages obsessively for the next few months.
Seriously, though, this is exciting! I love Charlotte Flair, I love horror movies…this is like a dream combo. I am so curious to see how she does in this role. Will she be the final girl? The villain? The monster?! The possibilities are endless!
