Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Genshin Impact lately, and I’m super hyped about Sigewinne. I mean, a Hydro healer who’s also a Melusine? Yes, please! So, naturally, I wanted to get a head start on gathering her talent materials. Figured I’d share my little adventure with you all.
Operation: Pre-Farm
First things first, I needed to figure out what exactly I needed. Thank goodness for the Genshin community – a quick search, and boom, I had the list. We’re talking about:
- Teachings of Equity, Guide to Equity, and Philosophies of Equity.
- Some kind of weekly boss material.
- And, of course, those annoying drops from new enemies.
The “Equity” books? I’m so lucky today is the right day. Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays are my days, I started to farm them, I spent like, maybe four or five Condensed Resin? I was mostly focused on getting enough blue books to get by, since I can always craft the purple ones later. No sweat there, I’ll be hitting that domain up a few more times before she drops.
Now, that weekly boss material is the real problem. I have no idea which one i need. All will wait unitl the last day to farm.
Those new enemies that I need to smack around for drops. I’m guess it must be related to the new area in 4.6, I’ll get that done. I still have some exploring to do!
I farmed that a little bit, but I’m not too worried. Once the update drops, It becomes very easy.
The Grind Begins!
So, armed with my trusty team and a whole lot of resin, I started my farming journey.
My strategy? Brute force, mostly. I just teleported, I started hitting things. I enjoy the fight. It will take time.
Honestly, the whole process was pretty chill. I put on a podcast, zoned out, and just went through the motions. It’s kind of therapeutic, in a way.
The Takeaway
Pre-farming for a new character is always a bit of a gamble, especially when you don’t have all the details. But hey, it’s fun, and it makes me feel like I’m getting ahead of the game. Plus, even if I end up with some extra materials, they’ll probably be useful for someone else down the line. Worst case scenario, I wasted a bit of resin. Best case scenario, I’m totally ready to max out Sigewinne the day she arrives!
