Okay, here’s my blog post about the “ow2 some of your hero customization is unavailable” issue, written from my personal experience:
So, I fired up Overwatch 2 the other day, excited to tweak some of my hero skins. You know, gotta keep things fresh, right? But then, bam! I got hit with this annoying message: “some of your hero customization is unavailable”. What gives?
At first, I thought, “Okay, maybe it’s just a temporary glitch.” I mean, it’s Overwatch. These things happen. So, the first thing I did was the classic “turn it off and on again”. I restarted the game. Nope, still there. Annoying.
Next, I figured, “Maybe it’s my internet being wonky?” It’s happened before, so it was worth checking. I checked and I made sure my connection was solid. Everything seemed fine on that front. Still no dice with the customizations.
Then I went to try change another hero’s customization. I tried a few different heroes, swapping around skins, victory poses, you name it. And…some worked, some didn’t! It seemed totally random which ones were locked and which were available.
So, I started thinking it might be account-related, So I went to try to login another account. I was expect that might solve this “unavailable” issue. And you know what,It worked!
I found that, This annoying problem can be solved by logging in to other accounts.
