Okay, so I’ve been seeing all this hype about Tyreek Hill’s speed, and honestly, I was a bit skeptical. I mean, sure, he’s fast, but how fast? I decided to put it to the test, my way.

Digging into Tyreek Hill’s Speed
First, I started by watching a ton of game footage. I mean, hours of it. I wanted to see him, not just in highlights, but in regular plays, too. I focused on how quickly he accelerated, how he changed direction, and how he maintained his speed throughout a play.
- Watched tons of NFL game highlights and full game footage.
- Observed his starts, cuts, and overall running form.
Next, I dove into some readily available stats. I grabbed his 40-yard dash time, of course, but also looked at things like his 10-yard split, his 20-yard split, and even some of his track and field times from back in the day. The numbers were impressive, there is no dening in that.
My “Real World” Experiment
I wanted some sort of real * I marked out 40 yards on my street, tried to imagine I was an NFL cornerback (yeah, right!), and had a buddy time me trying to “chase” Hill’s recorded 40 time. Let’s just say I wasn’t even close. I felt like I was running in slow motion.
My attempt was not a great experiment. I realized it’s not just about the straight-line speed. It’s about the burst, the agility, the way he can stop and start on a dime. Stuff I just can’t replicate.
So, after all this “research” and my little experiment, I gotta say, the hype is real. Tyreek Hill is ridiculously fast, he is fast in a way that’s almost unbelievable until you really break it * I have new respect for any defensive player who has to go up against him.
