Okay, so I’ve been trying to get better at predicting NBA games. It’s tough, man! But I figured, what the heck, let’s try to predict the Suns vs. 76ers game. I’m no expert, just a guy who likes basketball and likes to mess around with data.

My “Process” (It’s Pretty Rough)
First, I looked up some recent scores. Just the basics, you know? Who won, who lost, how many points did they score. Nothing fancy.
Then, I started digging around for some simple stats. Stuff like points per game, maybe some rebounding numbers. I just used a regular sports website, nothing too crazy.
- Checked recent game results.
- Grabbed some basic stats like PPG.
- Eyeballed the over all.
Next, I just kinda…thought about it. Seriously, that’s pretty much it. I considered things like, “Are any key players injured?” and “How have these teams played against each other before?” Basic stuff, really.
Honestly, it felt like a mix of educated guessing and wishful thinking. I wasn’t using any fancy models or algorithms, just my gut feeling based on the little bit of info I had.
Making the Prediction
I am going Suns.
It was super unscientific, and I probably got a lot wrong, but it was fun to try! I’ll definitely keep messing around with this and see if I can get better at it over time. Maybe I’ll even learn some actual statistics someday.
