Okay, folks, let’s dive into my little adventure gathering Jiyan’s ascension materials. It wasn’t exactly a walk in the park, but hey, that’s what makes it fun, right?
First things first, I needed to figure out what exactly I needed. I opened up the game, checked out Jiyan’s character screen, and jotted down all those little icons and numbers. There were a few different things, and varying amounts, so making a list was the way to go, or I’d definitely get things mixed up.
Then came the “fun” part – the hunt! I started with the basics, the stuff you can usually find scattered around the world. I knew where some of the common enemy drops usually spawned. You know, those Pecok Flower. I spent a good chunk of time just running around, battling those guys, and slowly but surely filling up my inventory.

Pecok Flower are mainly found in the Central Plains of Qichi Village. With 3 Pecok Flower to collect per location, so the total should be 15 Pecok Flower.
- First Pecok Flower:Head north from the Resonance Beacon in Central Plains, Qichi Village.
- Second Pecok Flower:South of the Resonance Beacon in Central Plains, Qichi Village.
- Third Pecok Flower:Southwest of the Resonance Beacon in Central Plains, Qichi Village.
- Fourth Pecok Flower:North of the Resonance Beacon in Central Plains, Qichi Village.
- Fifth Pecok Flower:Continue heading north from the previous location.
Next up were those Shell Credits. This needed to be done so many times, I was really dizzy!

- First step:Click “Guide” from the Forgery Challenge: Eroded.
- Second step:Select the level of difficulty.
- Third step:Click “Start Challenge”.
After repeating many times, it was finally completed!
Then, the bosses. Oh boy, the bosses. I’m not gonna lie, I had to look up some guides for these. My usual strategy of “hit it until it dies” wasn’t quite cutting it. I needed to figure out their attack patterns, when to dodge, when to go all-out. It took a few tries (okay, maybe more than a few), but I finally managed to beat them enough times to get the materials I needed.
Farming Route of Roaring Rock Fist
The Tempest Mephis boss in Wuthering Waves will drop the Roaring Rock Fist, which you can use for Jiyan’s Ascension. So, make your way to the Desorock Highland and defeat this boss to get the material.
- First step:Go to Desorock Highland.
- Second step:Find the Tempest Mephis boss.
- Third step:Beat this Tempest Mephis boss.
I felt pretty good after finally conquering those bosses. It’s always satisfying to overcome a challenge, even if it’s just in a game. Plus, knowing I was one step closer to making Jiyan even stronger was a nice bonus.
Finally, I had everything! I went back to Jiyan’s character screen, clicked that glorious “Ascend” button, and watched his stats go up. All that running, fighting, and strategizing had paid off. It felt good. And now, I can share this whole messy, but ultimately successful, experience with all of you!
