Okay, so I was watching this college football game the other day, and this crazy play happened. One team fumbled the ball, and I was like, “Wait, can the other team pick that up and run with it?” I honestly wasn’t sure, so I decided to do some digging. Here’s how it all went down.
My Deep Dive into Fumble Rules
First, I hit up the official NCAA rulebook. I figured that was the best place to start. I’m no expert, so I wanted to see it straight from the source.
- Reading the Rulebook: Seriously, have you ever tried reading one of these things? It’s dense! I spent a good chunk of time just trying to find the section on fumbles.
- Finding the Key Info: I finally found the part about advancing a fumble. It was a bit confusing, talking about “forward” and “backward” and all that.
- Asking my friend :Asking my friend to help me to understand.
After I translate what my friend said, I Started to try to understand and make some notes.
Putting It All Together
So, after reading the rulebook I realized there are different between NFL and NCAA.
I am so happy finally figure it out.
