Got a new project today – assembling a Dragon Kit for Real Madrid. I’ve heard a lot about these kits, and I finally got my hands on one. Super pumped to see how this turns out!
Getting Started
First off, I unboxed everything. Laid it all out on my table. You know, just getting a feel for what I’m working with. The kit comes with a bunch of parts, some fabric, and a guide. Nothing too complicated, but it definitely looks like it’s gonna take some time.
The Assembly Process
- Started with sorting the parts. There are these plastic pieces that you need to separate. They’re kinda like those model airplane parts. Snapped them out carefully, didn’t want to break anything.
- Then, I moved on to the fabric. It’s got this cool, shiny texture. Feels like a real jersey. Had to cut out some parts, following the lines on the guide. My scissors skills were really put to the test here.
- Next up, I began piecing the plastic parts together. They click into each other. It’s pretty satisfying when you get it right. Started to see the shape of a dragon coming together. Pretty neat!
- The tricky part was attaching the fabric to the plastic frame. I had to use some glue that came with the kit. It’s a bit messy, but hey, that’s part of the fun, right?
- Kept following the guide, step by step. It’s not rocket science, but you gotta pay attention. There’s a certain order to things, otherwise, it won’t look right.
- Took a few breaks in between. Can’t rush these things. Plus, my back started to hurt from hunching over the table. Gotta stretch it out!
Almost There
After a good few hours, I was finally getting to the last stages. The dragon was really taking shape. It’s got these awesome wings that I had to assemble separately and then attach. It’s all coming together now.
The Final Touches
Added the last pieces, did some final checks, and made sure everything was in place. There it was, the completed Dragon Kit. It looks really cool, I gotta say. The colors, the way the fabric lays on the frame, it’s all just right. I stuck on the Real Madrid crest to finish it off. It’s the cherry on top. And just like that I had completed my Real Madrid Dragon Kit project.
Overall, it was a fun project. Took up my whole day, but it was worth it. Now I’ve got this awesome Dragon Kit to show off. Might do another one of these in the future, who knows!
