Alright, so I’ve been digging into what Taylor Pendrith is using in his golf bag for 2024, and let me tell you, it’s a pretty interesting setup. I wanted to see what this guy, who’s been making some serious noise on the tour, trusts to get the job done.
First, I started by just doing a general search online to see what everyone was saying about him and his equipment. You know, the usual places – golf forums, some news sites, that sort of thing. There wasn’t one single place that had everything neatly laid out, so I started making a list of the clubs that people were mentioning most often.
Then, I watched some of his recent tournament footage. I focused on close-ups of him pulling clubs out of his bag, and tried to catch glimpses of the club heads and shafts. It’s like being a detective, you gotta look for the clues! I paused a lot of videos, let me tell you. This took me a while but it’s really fun when I am searching for the info I want.
My Findings
After combining all that info, here’s what I think he’s rocking this year:
- Driver: Seems like he’s sticking with the Ping G430 LST. Lots of people were talking about that one. I definitely saw it in a few videos too.
- Fairway Woods: This is where it gets interesting. I’m pretty sure he’s got a Callaway Paradym, probably a 3-wood, in there. He also has a titleist TSR.
- Irons: Now, for the irons, it looks like he’s got a set of Srixon ZX7 MKII. I saw those pretty clearly in a couple of videos, especially when he was lining up for approach shots.
- Wedges: He’s going with the classic Titleist Vokey Design SM9s. I managed to zoom in enough to catch that distinct Vokey logo, several times.
- Putter: This one was a little tougher to nail down, but I’m pretty sure it’s an Odyssey Toulon. I kept seeing that Toulon logo, and Odyssey seems to be his putter brand of choice.
- Ball: And finally, the ball. He’s using the Srixon Z-Star Diamond. I saw that mentioned a few times in my research, and it makes sense given his Srixon irons.
So there you have it. That’s my best guess at Taylor Pendrith’s WITB for 2024. It was a fun little project, piecing it all together. It makes you appreciate how much thought these guys put into their equipment. And maybe it’ll give us some ideas for our own bags, who knows? It’s always fun to see what the pros are using, right?
