So, I saw this crossword clue the other day, “actor seth of superbad nyt crossword,” and I was like, “Oh, I know this one!” I’m a big fan of Superbad, and I enjoy doing the NYT crossword puzzles when I have some free time. It’s a fun little challenge, you know?
Figuring Out the Clue
First, I thought about the movie Superbad. It’s a classic, right? Then I remembered the actor’s name. It’s pretty straightforward, his first name is Seth.
Next, I had to figure out his last name. This one took a little bit of thinking. I started by trying to recall other actors named Seth in the movie.
- Seth – Played by Jonah Hill, but that didn’t fit the puzzle.
- Evan – Played by Michael Cera, but that didn’t match either.
- Fogell (McLovin) – Played by Christopher Mintz-Plasse, still no dice.
Putting It All Together
Finally, it hit me! The actor who played Seth, also named Seth, is Seth Rogen! He was also one of the writers of the movie, which is pretty cool.
So, I filled in “Rogen” in the crossword puzzle, and it fit perfectly. It was a good feeling to get that one right. It’s always satisfying when you can combine your knowledge of movies with your crossword skills. Plus, it made me want to watch Superbad again. It’s been a while.
