So, I’ve been diving deep into the world of mafia games lately, and man, it’s been a wild ride! I started out just poking around, you know, seeing what’s out there. There are a ton of these games, from all sorts of different angles on the whole crime world thing.
First, I tried to get a feel for what’s popular right now. I checked out some lists and guides from like, this year, and they all talked about the “best mafia games ever made.” Sounds promising, right?
I noticed that a game called “Sleeping Dogs” kept popping up. Apparently, it’s set in Hong Kong and was made back in 2012. I gave it a go, and I gotta say, it’s pretty cool. The whole vibe of being undercover in the Triads is super immersive.
Then I dug a little deeper. I found this list from last year that focused on mafia games that are “full of action.” It mentioned that these games are available on PC, Xbox One, and even Nintendo Switch. That’s a pretty wide range, so I figured there must be something for everyone.
I also read somewhere that people like these games for different reasons. Some are into the historical settings, some like the ones based on movies, and others just want to get lost in that whole underworld experience.
The “Mafia” series itself seems like a big deal. I saw a ranking of the first three games, and apparently, there’s a “Mafia 4” coming out next year! It’s supposed to be set in Sicily, which sounds awesome.
Basically, I ended up playing a bunch of different games where you play as a mafioso and do all sorts of organized crime stuff. It’s been a blast exploring this genre, and I’m definitely going to keep trying out more of these games. This just the beginning of my sharing.
