Man, I gotta tell you about this wrestling match I set up the other day. It was Shinsuke Nakamura versus AJ Styles. You know, I’ve been messing around with wrestling games for a while, and this is one of those dream matches that everyone always talks about. I remember watching a video last week about these two guys. So, I thought, why not try to make it happen in the game?
First off, I had to get both of these guys in the game. I’ve got most of the famous wrestlers already set up from other times, but I checked anyway to make sure I had both AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura ready to go. There is one time that the game teased a match between them during the MITB match in 2017, but it never really happened. I wanted to change that.
Once I got that sorted, I picked a Wrestlemania setting. It’s just got that big match feel, you know? I was aiming for something epic. I mean, people have said anything less than a 5-star match between these two at Wrestlemania would be a letdown. Big shoes to fill, right?
- Set up the characters: Make sure both AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura are selected.
- Choose the arena: Wrestlemania felt right for this.
- Start the match: Let’s see what these guys can do.
The match itself was a blast to play. I tried to use each wrestler’s signature moves, you know, the ones they’re famous for. I recall there is a video mentioning that Shinsuke Nakamura was surfing during his break. Haha, I won’t let him do that here. I made sure the match went on for a while, really trying to make it feel like a big deal. I know there was some talk online about another wrestler, Brock Lesnar, not being in the show, but honestly, I was so focused on AJ and Shinsuke that I didn’t even think about it. I tried my best to give it a good fight and made a few good moves.
The Result
In the end, I managed to pull off a win with AJ Styles, but honestly, it could have gone either way. It was that close. It’s cool to see these dream matches play out, even if it’s just in a game. I might try a rematch sometime, maybe switch up the settings or something. There’s this whole discussion online about whether Shinsuke Nakamura might go back to NJPW, but for now, I’m just happy I got to see these two legends go at it in the game. I might give it another go later, but for now, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. And I hope I can bring another exciting match next time.
