So, I’ve been messing around with this online learning thing, right? I started with looking for some platforms, and I bumped into this IvyLearn on Canvas. It looks pretty cool, like it can help with teaching and learning online. I was curious, so I dug a little deeper.
Then I found out that these platforms are used for all sorts of subjects. Math, art, computer stuff, even history. I got to thinking about how useful this could be, especially since I’ve been wanting to brush up on my SQL skills. I found this SQL tutorial online, and it’s got an editor and everything, so you can practice right there.
But then I got sidetracked, as usual. I remembered this news story about a newborn baby that passed away. It’s super sad, and it got me thinking about how important health is, and how things like this can affect families.
Anyway, back to this learning platform thing. I decided to try out this online SQL course. It took me a while, but I finally figured out how to use their online editor and started practicing. It’s actually pretty neat because you can test your code with different database systems like MySQL and Oracle.
My Practice of SQL
- First, I signed up on that platform and found the SQL tutorial section.
- Then, I spent some time reading through the basics and getting familiar with the syntax.
- After that, I started trying out the examples in their online editor. It was a bit tricky at first, but I got the hang of it.
- Next, I moved on to some more complex queries. I even tried writing some of my own.
- Finally, I tested my queries on different database systems to see if they worked. I was pretty stoked that most of them did!
Besides all this serious stuff, I also thought about planning a trip to Atlanta. There seems to be a lot of fun things to do there, especially for families. I was checking out some lists of “must-see” places and “must-do” activities. Maybe I’ll actually go someday. I also noticed that Western Governors University seems to be a popular option for online degrees. I even considered signing up for a course there, given my newfound interest in online education.
So yeah, that’s what I’ve been up to. A bit of learning, a bit of thinking, and a bit of dreaming about future trips. It’s funny how one thing can lead to another, right? One minute you’re looking at online learning platforms, and the next you’re thinking about babies and SQL and planning trips to Atlanta. Life’s weird like that.
