OK, so I finally got my hands on Stellar Blade, and let me tell you, the trophy hunting in this game is a real grind. I’ve been at it for days, and I’m here to share my journey to getting that shiny Platinum.
First off, I dived straight into the game. Played through the story, you know, just to get a feel for everything. It’s got a pretty decent story, I gotta say. I didn’t really focus on trophies at first, just enjoyed the game and the combat. Killed a bunch of those nasty Naytiba creatures, explored around, that kind of stuff.
After I finished my first playthrough, that’s when the real work began. I started looking at the trophy list, and oh boy, it’s a long one. 43 trophies in total! A bunch of them are pretty straightforward, like the ones you get for just playing the story, but some are a real pain.
I spent hours running around, looking for collectibles. There’s a lot of hidden stuff in this game. Some are hidden behind breakable walls, some are just in really obscure places. It’s a lot of backtracking, let me tell you.
Then there are the combat trophies. You gotta use certain skills a bunch of times, defeat bosses in specific ways, all that jazz. This took some practice, and I died… a lot. But hey, that’s part of the fun, right? I did use some guides to learn how to cheese some of the bosses. Just made my life easier, to be honest.
- Story Trophies: These were easy. Just play the game, and you’ll get them.
- Collectible Trophies: These are the time-consuming ones. Lots of searching and exploring.
- Combat Trophies: These require practice and skill, or knowing some tricks.
- Side Quest Trophies: Some side quests are missable, so I had to be careful not to screw those up.
I think the hardest trophy for me was the one where you have to collect all the cans. There are so many of them, and they’re scattered all over the place. You really have to keep your eyes peeled for those. I missed a few on my first run and had to replay a good chunk of the game.
But finally, after days of grinding, I heard that beautiful “ding!” The Platinum trophy popped up on my screen. It was such a satisfying moment.
My Final Thoughts
So, yeah, getting the Platinum in Stellar Blade is a commitment. It’s not super hard, just really time-consuming. If you’re a trophy hunter, it’s definitely doable. But if you’re just looking for a casual playthrough, don’t worry too much about the trophies. Just enjoy the game! It’s a good time, even without all the shiny digital awards. Although, the Platinum sure does look nice in my collection!
It’s a grind for sure, and it’s not for everyone. I did it cause I had the time, and I wanted that trophy. Would I do it again? Maybe. It depends on how much free time I have. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t enjoy a good grind.
Anyways I’ve got to go. My new mission is getting trophies for another games. I will share with you guys if I get another Platinum. Stay tuned for my next update.
