Okay, so I saw this video online about Mac McClung’s vertical jump, and I got really curious. I mean, the guy can practically fly! So, I decided to dig into it and see what all the fuss was about.
First, I watched a bunch of videos of Mac jumping. It’s seriously insane. Then, I found out that he worked with this trainer, Paul Fabritz, who’s like a vertical jump guru or something. Apparently, this Fabritz guy has helped tons of athletes jump higher.
So, I started looking into their training program. I couldn’t find the exact program, but I found a lot of information about the kinds of exercises and techniques they use. It’s a lot of stuff like plyometrics, strength training, and flexibility work. They have a collaboration program to improve the jump. It has helped a lot of athletes!
I thought, “Hey, I want to jump higher too!” So, I started trying out some of the exercises I found. I did things like jump squats, box jumps, and calf raises. I also started stretching more and working on my core strength. I made the plan step by step to increase my vertical jump and explosiveness.
It wasn’t easy, that’s for sure. My legs were sore a lot of the time, and it took a lot of effort to stick with it. But, I kept at it, and after a few weeks, I actually started to notice a difference.
I was able to jump a little higher than before! It wasn’t a huge difference, but it was enough to get me excited. I felt like I was making some real progress. From the record, Mac can jump 47-48 inches.
I’m still working on it, but I’m definitely going to keep trying to improve my vertical jump. It’s a fun challenge, and it’s cool to see how much your body can do when you push it. This is what I can share with you guys right now, I will update if I get any progress.
- Watched Mac McClung’s jump videos.
- Researched Paul Fabritz and his training methods.
- Started doing plyometrics, strength training, and flexibility exercises.
- Noticed a small improvement in my vertical jump.
- Still working on it and will continue to train.
Conclusion
This whole experience has taught me that you can achieve some pretty cool things if you put your mind to it. It takes hard work and dedication, but it’s definitely possible to improve your athletic abilities. I never thought that I can jump this high before!
